I moved to the Bay Area in 1998 as a fledgling copywriter seeking fame and fortune in the advertising world. Shops like Goodby Silverstein, FCB, BSS, and Black Rocket were all killing it, and I dreamed of landing a job at one of these highly esteemed agencies.
Then, a funny thing happened. I visited a little boutique called Red Sky Interactive, and was completely blown away by what they were doing. I knew I had to be a part of it - these brilliant, passionate, creative minds were experimenting and inventing the next "big thing" in advertising as they went along.
I was fortunate enough to get a job at Red Sky, and it was one of the most personally challenging, exhilarating, and rewarding experiences of my career. With every day and every project, we tested the limits of both creativity and technology.
It's this childlike wonderment of what's possible when creative ideas dance a beautiful tango with technology that still drives me today. With every job, I strive to push the boundaries, and to make things that connect with people in deep and meaningful ways.
